Volunteer Projects in Peru

A special education center in the heart of Arequipa that offers education to 111 pupils with mental disorders (mostly Downs Syndrome) whose ages range between 2 and 18 years old.

Assist teachers in the classroom. Volunteers can also take the children for walks or organize special workshops for them, such as theater, music, cooking or sports. Volunteers with experience can also work with the speech therapist.

Especially suitable for volunteers with experience in special education.
