Volunteer Projects in Peru

This after- school project began 5 years ago and caters for about 60 children aged from 3-16 who would otherwise be working or hanging around in the streets. They attend the project in the afternoons and participate in activities designed to improve their quality of life. The children generally come from the poor urban areas of Cusco. The project consists of a playing room, a (small) library, a room for workshops and a kitchen.

Help children with their homework, organize physical or creative activities and take them for walks.

Motivation and enthusiasm in working with children and an ability to work independently.
