Volunteer Projects in Peru

One of the oldest Homes for Orphans in Arequipa, run by the government, for recently born children up to 12 year olds (most of them are really young). The Home offers the children lodging, meals and education. This project is located in the city center and needs a lot of help.

As a volunteer you will have a group of children under your care. You will play with them, feed and bathe them and also help with homework. You can also organize creative and sports activities or help in the kitchen.

Lots of enthusiasm.

4 weeks

Either morning or afternoon
(11-13:30 PM: change clothes, feed the children, 2 – 5 PM: working with the older children. During the work period you will have a group of 5-6 children under your responsibility).

Intermediate

The institution is able to accommodate up to 4 volunteers.
